You are a great storm; you are pouring rain
You fill the oceans; keep all the sea creatures alive
I am a captain stuck in this lonely shore town
Looking out at my vessel with you holding it up
Waiting for your storm to pass; it has been years
The only thing between us is this dam
So I'm picking away at it; piece by piece
Waiting for the day it will burst and you crash down on me
I'll breathe out the air from my lungs and fill them with you
