Pray Rain God Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Pray Rain God

Pray rain god

Let us pray rain god
To unload
Rainy showers
On dried belt

We are sufferings
The children are crying
They feel sickness
And remain inside homes

It tortures
And offers
No respites
From heat waves

The dams have few days' stock
The animals may be soaked
They have not enough to survive
So we all pray for revival of rainy showers

Who can do miracle?
Only god with magical arrival
Of showers with lightening strike
Making earth wet as she likes

Pray Rain God
