Prayer-Tiger-1 Poem by Loke Kok yee

Prayer-Tiger-1

Rating: 5.0

I have travelled far and I have travelled wide
Searching for a tigress that is fair and white

But I'm getting old and time is running out
Soon I will not recall what it's all about

Now I no longer care albino or grey
Whatever the colour it will make my day

If times get real hard and before I regret
I will not complain as long as it's a cat

Sometimes we will settle for much less when our options narrow. Enjoying your witty poems and pictures so much.10+

Thank you Simone, can afford to lose everything but not a sense of humor.

Life seems to be a dwindling of expectations- - but you have succeeded in making it humorous! ! ! ! ! Good Job! ! ! !

At the end of long waiting, we come to realize that we have compromised with many of the demands we initially had. Hope the tiger will find some mate soon....... no matter albino or tawny or grey. Humorous write!

A beautiful humorous poem, but cats are ultimately grown in a tigress.
