Prejudice Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Prejudice

Rating: 4.8

Prejudice is ingrained in the brain There's no training
The judiciary who are fiduciary, artificially rule the fool
Sub judice in prejudice Jurisprudence with decadence
Morality a formality, used to hoodwink plaintiff, owner of tiff.
In the intervening impossibilities
money changes hands, some having honey with tea
You can't call a spade a spade, lest you be made to trade barbs in a tirade
Contempt of court!
You thought
Scales represent fairness
A blindfolded lady with barrenness
Playing fair
Who paid for her fair?
Pride and prejudice
Ride the precipice
Get over it
It's what it is.

Rhymes interwoven with judicial injustice. Reforms can always be made. Laws are made to be repealed.
