Pretty Poem by Alexis Gray

Pretty

I don't want this face.
I don't want this body.
I don't want to take up space.
I just want someone to see me.

I wish I was pretty.

I want to look
like I belong in a magazine.
Like a sexy crook,
Or a beautiful queen.

If only I was pretty.

I want to be pretty.
That's all I've ever wanted.
Pretty,
Please?

I'll make it go away.
I'll cut it off my skin.
I'll retch til it's gone.
I'll be pretty.

Pretty. Pretty. Pretty.
