Prevail Poem by Joshua Flores

Prevail

In the unseen eye of man,
Doeth unto the heart of the victor.
What we shall see,
For what the world will be.

There is destruction
Fine or great
that roams the world
awaiting our fate

The truth is we are vile
Yet we live to prove
That we are not
The worlds rot

Perhaps that is the best of humanity
Something that can keep our sanity
Our great savior
The great will

It will keep us sheltered in the cold
and keep us fed in famine
It will light the dark
and exterminate the evil

However what is evil if we are dark
What are we if man is vile
The questions we seek best left unspoken
Till the time we pay deaths fairy a token.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a really improvised poem that I feel was not given enough time to properly flourish in a flower. I will take time later on to fix this and make it much better.
