Looking down the lawn
Perching up a tree
The clever little bird
Finds a worm in glee
The dear little worm
Knowing not its doom
Scraping green the leaf
Never was in grief!
The poor little leaf
Numb ‘n dumb in pain
Cursing on its life
Looked sad and drained
Flying down the squeak
Catches worm on beak
A snake lying by
Swallows whole it dry
Out the keeper comes
Water pot, one hand
Straight to parent plant
Club on other hand!

A very astute observation on nature and human. It expresses in beautiful detail the interaction of living things. So brilliantly beautifully depicted. Another poetic gem.
Nature and human nature are sometimes like 1 complete vicious circle. Truly well written! 10
