Promoted And Religiously Defended Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Promoted And Religiously Defended

The look and feel of it...
Are illusions.
Those participating in exchange,
Are illusions.
Even the illusions themselves,
Can be concluded to be exclusively...
Illusions.
With or without perceptions needed.
And yet...
God is the exception of this conception.
And He, She or It,
Can not be seen at all.
Although we remain devoted.
To keep what isn't real in our lives,
Promoted and religiously defended.
