Proof With Evidence Collected Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Proof With Evidence Collected

Perhaps there had been a time,
A rush to pass quick judgement...
Was a wrong thing thought to do.
However...
Today,
Is not the time no one can afford...
To do the right thing.
Knowing to excuse it done,
Would be wrong for everyone involved...
To not rush to pass judgement.
As quickly as possible.
Especially when someone has already admitted,
Burning down several houses.
Just for the attention.
And loving to expose proof of it.

"What on Earth,
Are you all waiting for?
Marshmellows? "

-Not yet!
But...
That maybe a good suggestion,
To add to all the other evidence...
We have already collected.
Giving us an incentive,
To have the known culprit...
Handcuffed and arrested.-
