your eyes glitter
with the reflection of the sun
your skin is soft
with beauty I can't touch
you push me away
and tell me I'm not the one
I ask why
and you just say because
what have I done
have I hurt you in any way
all I did was give you the time of day
what happened between us
was it my fault
when did things begin to change
then you say
your not the one
your my one and only
then you go on one knee
and pull out a ring
and you ask the question
and I say yes
you are my one and only too
