I want to protect you
from everything I can.
I know you're strong and pretty,
I know you are the man,
but still I want to care,
distract you when you're angry,
with you be when you're bare,
to be there when it bothers,
to hug when something hurts,
save from bad days of others
and your bad days from force,
from loneliness, from sorrow,
from sadness of your own
and see your smile tomorrow
and all days till we're gone.
I want to protect you

so you can be yourself
