Psalm 21 Poem by Frank McEleny

Psalm 21

With a crown of gold upon His head
He is the king of the living and the dead
And all who are alive in Christ will see
That they once were bound but now are free

The power of life is in His hand
Yet in the darkness His enemies stand
And the light of Christ it shines from above
From darkness to light, from hatred to love

Into His hand God delivers them all
The great and the lowly, the short and the tall
And who can resist when Christ Knocks on the door
The broken, the crushed, the rich and the poor

Come one, come all come now in the day
Come now while there's light, with heads bowed to pray
And though you be many come shout with one voice
For salvation we praise you, in this we rejoice!
