Psalm 28- With Me Poem by Parker Perrella

Psalm 28- With Me

Lord, please hear me.
With the only strength I have left
I cry out to you faintly.
My voice is hoarse,
I am desperately pleading
For help-
My rock, do not be deaf to me.
I need you, God,
To walk with me-
For I cannot move another step,
I am far too weak.
Legs shaky,
Heart breaking,
Lord, carry me.
My stronghold and my salvation-
My strength and my shield-
I trust in you and you hear me.
So I press on through this valley,
And I will not fear the darkness before me,
For God Almighty stands by my side
And he walks with me.
