[A Minute Verse]
_____MINUTE VERSEOLOGY____
What is a Minute Verse? Nothing much...
It's (as far as I know from my research)
my own created poetic form, albeit the
term limerick could come to mind, and no
doubt was an influential seed, but read on!
It consists of one Quatrain with a rhyme
scheme of AABB or ABAB, along with a witty
storyline/theme. The piece MUST be com-
pleted in a time range of under two minutes.
It was fun 'n I only cheated once- 2min/9sec.
No, it's not the one above. I'll never tell!
.............COMPULSIVE REFRIGERATION...............
Has not the refrigerator been empty all day
When you checked forty times if not more
And since you haven't left the house today
Why keep checking as if you're not sure...!
