Puppy Love

Tossing and turning
I woke up tired
with a licks
Caressing my face wet
And it was a sweet face
asking if I was o.k
Overcoming me with love
Love that I did not
Appreciate at first
But I thanked them
In the end
For I could never
Be angry at love
