Puzzlements Poem by Edwina Reizer

Puzzlements

Between here and there
there is nowhere.
So nowhere is where we are.
And if that's where we are
we're never too far
from being here or there.

If we never know how
or never know why,
we simply guess
before we die
the reason we never knew.

How foolish we are
to think it bazarre
that our perception
is always the truth?
For what we perceive
from early in youth
usually ends up
leaving its scar.
