Quandry Ii Poem by Sonny Rainshine

Quandry Ii

Rating: 5.0

A boy with a pair of scissors
sees his older sister asleep
out by the pool,
her hand on the hilt of
a large flyswatter.
Next to her she has
tied a cluster of helium filled
balloons from her birthday party.

Will he release the balloons
to watch them drift
off toward Jupiter?
Or will he give
his sister a stylish haircut?

It's got to be both Sonny, and some Immac on her eyebrows too! Danny (10)
