Sometimes,
A four lined poem
A quatrain,
As it is called
Can say more
Than many pages.
Concentrated
Thoughts,
Play well
On Poetry's
Many stages.
Very true, Sandra. Brevity is the best quality of poetry. I will call it a trope, though it is hard to define. And the silence we leave between the words and line, speaks volumes
