Quenchless Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Quenchless

Greed has its way of consuming
Discretion and good values away,
Like the insatiable ground it always takes
The carrion that Death forsakes.

It's a quenchless thirst that will rake
For more and more until one day
It entangles all else then makes
One consumed in a life of disarray.
