Quiet Poem by Dan Uriel

Quiet

the storm has ceased
my soul was trembling
joy in my heart not in vain
battle of me calm down

become wise in this content
the world of fun joy shows
the despised happiness
but my heart will always regret

from these disasters
when the light will show
the delight of my worn life
and meet the last graces

I'll allow the world to rest
than perhaps any friend
at the tomb weeping
rest in peace and quiet
