Quote Poem by Alex McCullough

Quote

Tomorrow will be the start of a brand new day,
One that I can't predict no matter what I do.
Don't you wonder what kind of picture it'll paint,
And which colors it'll use to show us?
Wave goodbye to those younger times,
And shake hands with the new future.
So you don't have to wonder,
Who is living in which one of them?
Setting the scene is a brezze,
A wise man once told me,
But if you don't believe in yourself and others,
Then the breeze could become a hurricane,
And sweep you off your feet.
How many days,
Have I thought of that,
Losing my grip and being carried away.
But each time when it happens,
A chain reaches out to me,
And I remember the bonds that hold onto me,
Making sure never to let me go.
