Rain's Refrain Poem by Alex McCullough

Rain's Refrain

Sitting alone for somedays,
Today is boring,
And tomorrow will be the same.
Can't escape from this prison,
Too many chains,
They're just impossible to break.
I want to out in the azure rain,
Merging colors,
To show the feelings of the day.
I want to be like the scarlet rain,
Burning brightly,
To do this all over again.
But I don't have much time,
So I think I'll just sit back,
And listen to this refrain.
Back once again,
These boring days,
Keep me company,
Though they're starting to become a pain.
Time continues on,
Like my gaze,
Going forward,
But will this always be the same?
I wish to jump out into that endless rain.....someday.
