Raindropp Rhapsody Poem by Kezang Dawa

Raindropp Rhapsody

Rating: 2.8

Raindropp rhapsody
It's refreshing to have rainfall
After long dry days,
For plants get watered
And animals showered
Free of cost.
Life rejuvenates itself
With every dropp of rain.
It brings the lost white crowns
Of our still mountains,
Promising us the continuous
Meandering of rivers
Through woods, vales and
Where deer come to drink
Forgotten brooks regain its peace,
Gurgles across the green valleys,
Where farmers live lively lives.
Dead and drying rose reawakens,
Regains its silent bloom
And dream to grow wild and old,
The very dream
Of every living soul
Children lay friendship
Foundation in puddles
Around the play ground,
Sparkling water on each other
With conviviality, in joy.
Lovebirds hold each other tight
Under the whispering pine,
Away from the busy street,
Radiating true love
Upon each other,
Kissing raindropp off
Cheek and lips;
Feelings so soulful,
Tenderness endearing
With the rhythm of rain drop
Dripping off the drench leaves
May the seasonal rain
Pour to awaken every soul
Bringing rainbows to all
Just like the glorious sun
