Raindrops Poem by Marilyn Lott

Raindrops

Rating: 4.4

There are many thoughts I have
About raindrops as they fall
They can be large, wet and heavy
Or barely raindrops at all

They can form itty bitty puddles
And maybe that’s all they’ll be
Or it can rain so hard that
You are barely able to see

Spring rain is often sweet showers
That we need for things to grow
Just a gentle little splatter
When barely the wind will blow

Do you grab an umbrella, my friend
Or do you just let it fall on your head
Oh, I never block the feel of rain
I just let it splash down instead!
