Rambina's Stroll Poem by Hope Hills

Rambina's Stroll

Rating: 2.5

The night air tickled the hearts calling
Rambina sang softly
Drifting at reverie
The whippor will cooing
Along the winding stream

Magical, mystical
Lights flashing in the dusk
Briskly scattered tenets
The cloudbursts moving
Dazzily along
While the jazzy little
Moon hung still there

She sat awestruck
Gazing for awhile
Notes and melodies
Playing inside her head
Oh, such sweet vibrant
Beautiful sounds

It started to rain lightly
Covering the earth
She stood on
Dixie ran ahead and barked
At the passerby,
'Are you going to dilly, dally again tonight? ',
The man asked
'Who's to say! ' Rambina reverently replied

She walked on and the man
Disappeared into the shadows
She pondered, wondering;
Is that the man Dixie was barking at?
She let the moment fade and
Walked on

As she was strolling, she picked
Some wild flowers for her friends
Jasmine and Lavendar filled the air
She breathed in the succulent scents
Toe to Toe
Continuing to sing softly

She joined the pond frogs
Crooning tonight
'The pleasure is all ours! ' they told her
'Thank you! ' Rambina replied
And on she went enjoying
Her stroll

'Oh, look Dixie, the grapes are starting to grow',
She said
The rain was letting up and
She was almost there
The night birds flapped their wings,
Saying 'Hello! '

She nodded in delight
How becoming of them to
Come calling as they did
This very night
Rambina finally got
Home, where Lourdes and Apple
Were waiting with tea and bisquits
Such delight this night
