Rapital City Poem by Chandrasekaran JB.

Rapital City

Is that our capital city,
which became a matter of pity.
Taming of men through
women is civilization,
Taking women as toys
of joy is not realisation.
Does Hindustan's capital city
dates back to Chengis Khan's rapital city?
Is that history repeats
Due to few culprits?

With our sister Nirbhaya,
do the humane Margaya?
Is that due to few hooligans?
Not at all, but due to widespread colourless timid ones.
We, the tax payers,
dying like wax layers.
Should we pay tax,
to keep ourselves in stake?
Oh! our precious future doctor,
sleep well my dear daughter...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
On the death of our nation's daughter...
COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Rajendran Muthiah 01 February 2013

The poet throws light on the blunt teeth of our laws which fail to take a bite at the vandalism let loose by the barbarians in our civilized nation. Atrocities going on daily in the length and breadth of our country may inspire the writer to couch verses profusely. There is a burst of his poetic spirit in this maiden venture.
