Reading You Poem by Ray Hansell

Reading You

My day is just beginning
As I move a little slow
What the day holds for me
I don't really know

I'll go on Poem Hunter
Read a gem or two
Hoping that I find
One that was written by you

If I were to find one
I'll drink in every word
I'll even read it our loud
So the gem can be heard

But if I find nothing
I will still have the thirst
When you post a new one
I will read it first

My day is just beginning
So I don't really know
That when my day is over
Exactly, what I'll have to show

But I know if I read you
My day will end real good
It will be a happy one
Just like I thought it could
