Real Faith Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Real Faith

'Faith, just what is it? '
Someone asked a preacher,
To illustrate in wit
He told the story of a biker.
The biker, he was rare in skill-
He worked inside a circus
On cabled wires he rode for thrill
To earn his pay so precious.
'Now Faith, ' the preacher said
Was evident on the people,
For they believed he'd cross the wire
And to go back, he's able.'
But when the biker challenged one
To take the ride with him,
The silenced crowd found there was none
Who'd dare die on a whim.
'For real Faith takes on the leap
To trust with life and with one's all-
To never doubt but in tight grip
Step forth and follow the Savior's call!
