Reality Poem by Crystal Pierce

Reality

The snake bite of life.
The very sharpened knife.
It goes through everyone eventually.
This thing called Reality.

It sucks, yes, but you'll need it.
Just imagine if we didn't have it.
We'd go around in a haze all day.
Never thinking of what's coming our way.

Reality is a big pain. Yes, it's true.
But it will happen to everyone even you.
Take to these words as you read them.
There's a lot of truth in them.

You can imagine a day without clouds,
and you can imagine no more crowds,
but reality will come one day.
So be on the look out as it comes your way.
