Reality Tv Potus Poem by Nabeela Black

Reality Tv Potus

Please please, mommy daddy - can this all be a dream and not (a) reality (tv show) ?

I see now that cynicism is under-rated but at least this time smiles didn't hide the lies.

Now even the Bush dynasty and dumbing down of 'W' doesnt seem as big a disgrace....

And as the world rallies to make sense of why, I ask why half our citizens didnt even bother to vote.

The earth hailed a supermoon some said confirmed prophecy, but it was hardly noticed behind the police flares and bat signal.

O Alec Baldwin I now live for every Saturday - to laugh briefly between sighing and remembering when....BHO gave us so many reasons to get off our knees and hope that dreams would become reality. But November 9th we woke up to find reality - tv show or not - still needs alot of screen adjustments.

Mommy & daddy say that comfort food and hugs will not be enough this time....we gotta do alot of barakin Adonai while fasting, cuz the Lord said thats how to run the strongest evil out.

I think I'm gonna be mighty hungry with sore knees til 2020.

Is our country worth that much to you?

Along with that - Will.I.Am, we need an anthem to help us believe The City of Magnificent Intentions can and will manifest again.
