Realizations Of A Teenage Catastrophe Poem by Elizabeth Sheaffer

Realizations Of A Teenage Catastrophe

The human race is a great tragedy,
and we are all acting in it
over and over again.

The thing most people fail to realize
is that we are our own playwrights.

We have the power
to shape our own destiny
and to reach for things
most people only dream of from afar.

We can create the tomorrows we so desperately long for.
