Reflection Poem by Alex Reyes

Reflection

I saw your failures, I saw your griefs
I saw your doubts and your unbelief
Yes, even your lies unspoken truth
Hidden in hypocritical cloak

Oh how could you rest and find retreat!
Grasping love yet deserved not a bit
Such a perfect imperfect liar
shame on you, be broken asunder!

Oh how could I uncover you dear
When they behold you, and Him to hear
If they only see you as I do
sword of curse indeed will pierce you through!

How long will daylight should cast to thee?
Bearing rays to soul that you may see
When will you set nought your heresy?
You person, in the mirror of me!
