Reflection Of Parallel Walls Poem by Afzal Juneja

Reflection Of Parallel Walls

An acute passage through the reflection of parallel walls,
Where shadows squeezed as silence beep just like an abyss call,
Filled with an ache of mystic spells, where no agony belongs,
And there a child's imagination is mold by a serpents song.

Tall Fluorescent tree on entrance, rootless, dancing clowns under,
Once bothered may entice more, rare nomads shall wonder,
Not all courageous will choose to walk, nor all cowards crawl,
The passage isn't an illusion but a reflection of parallel walls.

Count of four directions at center, three, enlightened must see,
All, all and all endure ecstasy, yet many fooled by fluorescent tree,
Want, want and wants stacking tall, endurance isn't for all,
One's shadow in absence of light, queer flute, an abyss call.

Galactic pond at quarter, dried, vicious norms gathered to stay,
Many sat on sides, seeks serenity, under reflection of yesterday,
Reflection aligns reality, on death of desire, yet persistence among,
Fortunate enjoys an ache of a mystic spell, where no agony belongs.

A gale of sand near to end, teeth crumbled, bones felt cold,
Reflection still, fools youth, still clown dance, passage seemed old,
All knelt, some wept, few prayed, a journey where no agony belong,
There no child's imagination must be mold by a serpents song.
