The bush in which you hide,
Has eyes,
The wall, behind which you speak,
Has ears,
The seed which you sow,
Is what you will reap,
The intention behind your actions,
On it you will be judged.
Wise words from a young man. A brief but meaning ful message. Well done Abekah.
We create our own reflections in life that can be good or bad according to the way we live! Superb write! Sorry for taking so long to read your poems Abekah and thanks for sharing!
The first four lines remind me of how you are never safe and can always be observed by someone or something. It could be taken in a lot of different ways but for me it reminds me of my ever watchful parents who make sure that I am keeping their reputation good by watching me around every bush and through every wall.
A poem with a strong message, one which unfortunately too few hear. When it is time to answer, you will sow what you reap. Darla :)
Reflections are really beautifully expressed here. Memorable writing and meaningful. May God bless you. Keep on writing. Nice job on sharing.
we have many reflections the seed which you sow is what you reap so rue a good thought to remember nice writing
These are excellent statements which hone in on a specific theme for each reflection, state it, and move to the next. You are generously allowing the reader to add his/her won thoughts after you have expressed yours. There does seem to be a very strong note of judgment sounded: everything we do is observed, recorded, entered into a balance sheet and our future fate decided on the basis of that record. The speaker of this poem is obviously a vigilant man and his record will be clean.
You reap what you plant... Trust no one...even your shadow will leave you in the dark..
