Reflections Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Reflections

Seek me in solemn silence
Never meant to master invisibility
Visibility seek guidance
Give me the strength
To say I am right here!
Right now!
Presence retooling

A voice to these self-muted expressions
Outside world of confusion
I exist with everything, with everyone!

Yell loudly, Here I am
Inside my own head
A place so safe and secure
Get me out of my own comfort zone
And I will share the peace I have within

Versatility as one
Fighting anxiety's curse
Never an easy battle I confess
But I have to live as freely as I could ever live
Beyond to the currents of time
Again and again and again

Seek me inwards for who I truly am
Judge this self with calmness and dexterity
Personal prophecy epitomized
Proving to me
That I was never truly the only one, beyond all

They will always be afraid to decipher things wrong
I say to them interpret it for what you feel it all is
No matter what you may believe
If it comes with understanding
Of doing my absolute best, telling you
That I exist, and I am here right by your side!

The method of duality
Setting self-carefree
Communicating through telepathy
From this heart I sing songs of utter devotion

Delve deeply into this soul
How do I look now?

Can you see me now?

Do you want to?
