Regrets. Poem by Emma Jane Rae

Regrets.

One day you will ask yourself,
why did you let me down!
you'll realise how nasty you were,
turning my smiles to frowns,
you'll regret all of the hurtful things you said,
you'll wished you hadn't f*cked up my head,
no point in regretting all the things that you done,
you ruined every chance of me,
ever calling you mum,
you'll miss all of the cuddles,
that you should have had from me,
you'll regret wrecking my whole life,
and someday you will see,
you took my life and stamped it into the ground,
while i shedsilent tears, not making a sound,
one day you will hurt when you think about our family,
and was it worth leaving us behind?
for some sordid sick fantasy?
