Regrets Poem by Chantelle Hutchinson

Regrets

You were my sun, My light.
In comparison to my darkness I hold within.
I didn't think I would miss you like I do.
hours, days, weeks will go by and I will regret not saying, 'yes'
Maybe I will forever walk in regret.
The words I cry out are not necessarily truthful,
And I'm sorry I can't take back my harsh tongue.
