Regular Guy Poem by Simon Matar

Regular Guy

I am just a regular GUY
Lookin'not for fame or style
Am no hulk or popeye
But young and somewhat shy

I am just a regular GUY
Who made his feelings simply die
For once my dreams were up high
but got crashed that month after July

My own tears went dry
and really got fed up with Cry
Back stabs thrown in a pile
after vanishes with no good bye

So many years of my life went by
It's when I do need to realize...
It's when I find out late why
that I am No regular Guy

No No, I am No regular GUY
I Have that very special smile
When I look the sun in its eye
'My limits are your very own sky'

No No, I am No regular GUY
I did Step that extra mile
I went in where very few try
Success will always be my ally

No No, I am No regular GUY
Don't you dare come and defy
For I Live with diginiy of a Samurai
and will die with a martyrs immortal pride

My life is no cake or sweetpie
To reach out to it and buy
or snatch that dream and fly
...not even that walk on the aisle
