Beauty Uncovered! Poem by Simon Matar

Beauty Uncovered!

Yesterday Night, I raised my head high
Spotted a lot in this clear dark sky
I stared at its stars & that shiny moon
I saw beyond that white dull Lune

I suddenly heard this heavenly tune so fine
It sent shivers all the way down my spine
Maybe I'm blessed or not, but can't why
But I'm certain I was so lucky, that I can't deny

It was time I made my way out of that small cocoon
To explore the truth from mercury to Neptune
The Truth of an everlasting beauty, such a divine
Empowered by logic, an era of personal reign

Beauty that we all seek to have, if not now, soon
Beauty that made me insane, a real sore loon
Finally I know what this fizzy life is all about
Finally I made myself convinced & with no doubt

A smile, a look, something not in the book
A nose, a body, a curve that extremely shook
A spirit that dashes, a heart that touches
Sensuality of souls, stars under blouses

Romance of lovers, wild ideas to live for
Crazy people to meet, spicy life to endeavor
Totally Daring, splendor under clothes to uncover
Satisfying a necessity not, but to be a real lover

Harsh things to say, smile back at them
Every beautiful flower has spikes in the stem
You are a criminal too, never others condemn
If you can't be Free, then read not this poem

I have cleared my conscience, rebelled my way
Got out of the box, travelled on a sun ray
Fast with the changes, not allowed to stay
Floated on the clouds, wanted to jump and play

Can you handle it? …live not by the rules
look not at society and its unworthy fools
Care about humans and not their schools
Not the stupid boundaries, just appreciate them as jewels
