Reject Me, Will You? Poem by Leo Bryle

Reject Me, Will You?

When you say nothing at all
Is like facing a closed-ended wall
In the middle of a crimson tide; swimming in an open sea
You leave me here - in a desert full of misery

Reject Me, isn't it what your eyes tell?
We go around the circles when it's just easy to say
You give me seed to nurture; and you watch it grow
You never say a word; instead you put on a magic show

Pull that dagger, Come on! Thrust to me harshly
How you want it to be, Open-heartedly! I accept gladly
Reject Me, querulously!
Reject Me, fretfully!
Reject Me, on bended knee

You sent dark clouds over a million times
No sharp object can do any more harm, so
Pull that dagger inside you, drive to me brutally
(All I want is for you to]
Reject Me, tortuously!
Put an end to this, I have lived always, false felicity

Reject Me, is all I ask of you.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sometimes, rejecting someone need to be brutally straightforward; Like saying NO. Otherwise, by not saying anything at all, it gives millions of false hopes. I was there. I have gone there.
