Reject The Rot

In life adrift when Satan rules
Blinded by gross deceit
Many have strayed as blundering fools
Away from Grace’s feet

Distrusting Truth, rejecting Christ
Through selfish hearts of stone
Ignorant why God sacrificed
The King on Heaven’s throne

From east to west remains the same
Playing the fool anew
We live to self walking in shame
Towards our unseen due

Choosing instead satanic rot
Darwin’s ignorant scrawl
Many fall fowl of Satan’s plot
Bringing about their fall

Whilst wrapped in lust in self desire
Love sings of grace in vain
We err towards eternal fire
Searching for personal gain

For righteousness we ought to thirst
In everything we do
God calls to love, to love Him first
And love our neighbours too

Let each now take a look inside
Scrutinize deep within
Before we reach the last divide
Festooned in wayward sin

Repent! Repent towards The Light
Pray Jesus to forgive
Receive God’s promised robe of white
And endless life to live
