Reliable Gossipers Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Reliable Gossipers

Listening to do,
Should not take,
A getting old.
Thick headed and stubborn.
To refuse what some hear to accept.
As nonsense to excuse it as such.
Because it was not heard,
From dependable and reliable gossipers.
Making up,
What they did not hear to be heard.
To later not remember or deny it said.
