Remember You Poem by Izik Alcox

Remember You

I can still remember your smile
Warming my heart all the while
Leading me on and building it up
Unprepared I was filling my cup

I can still recall your eyes
Like two moons yet full of lies
Ones that cut me deep
My love you did reap

I can still feel the warmth of your skin
Something I felt deep within
A warmth you tore away
By the harsh words you'd say

I can still hear your lovely voice
The one that left me with no choice
To give you my heart and my love
And took what you wanted thereof
