I remember the joy.
I reminisce and my heart still flutters.
I remember the look in your eyes.
I remember the sound of your voice,
The feel of your touch,
The smile on your lips.

I remember the pain.
I reminisce and my heart still drops.
I remember as you yelled your thoughts.
I remember as you walked away,
The emptiness you left,
The tears that followed.

I remember the story.
I reminisce and to this day I sigh.
I remember the beautiful beginning.
I remember the dreadful ending,
The experiences we went through,
The memories we made.

I sit here,
And I reminisce.
