Replacing Love With Lust Poem by Brianna Reynolds

Replacing Love With Lust

At the moment,
Thoughts of passion and lust burn at the back of your mind.
The feeling of his body, intriguing, youll find.
It tricks you to do things you once thought you never would.
And drives you to lenghts you thought it never could.

The crazy, careless passion of it all,
Keeps the fire burning far into the night.
You warn yourself not to fall.
Cuz when the morning comes there will be no fight.

You will go your seperate ways,
Only to start fresh on a different day.

Your thirst is gone.
But the feeling of love, you long.
That unmistakable feeling,
That leaves your head reeling.

You thought lust could replace the love you once knew,
But love is the greatest of all vices, its true.
