Reset Poem by Aidan Kowe

Reset

Reset;
Let's go back to square one,
When everything was normal.
No headaches, no heartaches, no sleepless nights,
No loss of appetites, no jolts, no pushes,
No more.

Reset,
Back when you were doing your own thing,
And I was in my own fantasy world.
'Cos complications confused me,
And I bet you're starting to regret,
The shackles that confine,
The bind that suffocates.

Reset,
Back to before,
When you were you,
And I was I,
When we have nothing,
To tie us down.
