Restful Spirit Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

Restful Spirit

My peaceful self, my quiet moment
The freedom of my soul.

The sound of the wind brings a sweet melody
And the cool breeze gives peace to my thoughts.
It embracing the continent of my mind
Surrendering the silence of time.

My freedom, my free spirit, my beautiful self
The peace, the beauty, the essence,
The freshness of the day was so peaceful, so beautiful.

I had everything; everything I wanted for
That money can not give, can not replace, can not compare.

The beatitude of peace inside me
I rest myself in Jesus, My savior.
