Reunion Poem by Seeyan AbdulGafoor

Reunion

Rating: 4.5

As I walk through the realms of memory
High above my head, a star I see
Shooting aglow through the darkness of mine
My closed eyes urging the remembrance.

I see him beneath my eyelids closed
And the world in him shone bright
Oh! I see him in this darkness
Without a twilight the sky lit.

I see the lush green that stretch
I see the rocks grey that nods
I see the drops sapphire twinkle
But i see nothing still.....

The day I remember the heart I knew
While joyful tears caressed my cheeks
I would cease to exist, should
End comes between us.

And when I see thee walking
Arms outstretched for me
The air murmurs reunion sweet
And my heart kisses the air.

The hug each you gave me
Embracing my soul and heart
Should I've lived, sans this?
As I felt life tasting reunion.

I open my eyes, to see the star again
Sailing through the dreaming sky
Bidding adieu to my eyes, as again
I lapse to the reunion, in the chamber of my grave.....

everything is destroyable...shakespear told that time destroyes everything...i thing only the memories is the winner against time...time is defeated in the hands of memories....we r living joyfully with hope and memories...and reunion is also expected in life...but seldom happens it...death is the enemy of the reunion...grave is the final culmination of world stage.....these pictures have been depicted vividly...top marks...
