Reverence Poem by Maddy Jones

Reverence

Rating: 5.0

My heart is at home in your hands,
I feel at home in your arms,
Relief waves over and lands,
Completely succumbed to your charms,

Your spirit, enticing and gentle,
Has always caressed upon mine,
Quenching my fears, how tranquil,
As though its the finest of wine,

Our lips, so tender with reverence,
Warmed with our shared esteem,
When they touch with a powerful sufferance,
Affections composed like a dream.
