Reversed Poem by Juliana Galal

Reversed

Stars singing, birds twinkling
Iron floating, wood sinking
Sun raining, clouds shinning
Man playing and animal thinking

Maybe I'm reversing things in a strange way
But this world is getting weirder by the day
Man did reverse some things in this world
To make it easier for him to play

That slave was supposed to be free
That chair was once a beautiful tree
Those tears were supposed to be smiles
This sea is not as it used to be

Why doesn't the bird feel free to fly?
animal's skins are not fashionable materials to buy
Lions are supposed to live in jungles not circuses
Clouds of smoke don’t belong in the sky.

Why couldn't we just leave things the way they were
This is a sea, That's a forest and that's a star
Stop ruining everything for your own sake
Just stop it, this is really going way too far

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was watching some pictures then I realized that the world used to be better before and that man has changed lots of things in this world for his own sake so my message is 'God created this world in a fantastic way so just leave it as it is and don't spoil his creation'
